Rebecca Murphy, Founder and Chairman of The Dallas Morning News Wine Competition has been your guide to award-winning wines with a small price tag for over 25 years. Her focus for 2010 will be further refined, exploring award-winning wines produced by small, family owned wineries, available for less than $15 a bottle. In this seminar you will taste and explore several wines with this well-known wine expert and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of these small family owned wineries.

Distinguished mixologist and rum expert, Lynnette Marrero, will take you on a journey exploring the evolution of rum from its origins and mainstream popularity to the recent resurgence in modern mixology. Attendees will sample rum classics, twists on other cocktails, and enjoy some of the world’s finest premium sipping rums.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to sample Zacapa, remarkable award-winning Guatemalan rum. Zacapa is a blend of rums between six and 23 years aged in barrels that previously stored robust bourbons, delicate sherries, and fine Pedro Ximenez wines.
