2008 Dinner Photos

Creative genius can be expressed in the pairing of great cinema with fine wine and food. The festival proudly presents Zeitgeist Films' Dallas premiere of Gianni di Gregorio’s “Pranzo di Ferragosto” ("Mid-August Lunch"), bringing to the silver screen the magical bonding power of a shared meal during the Italian holiday Ferragosto. Presented at the Venice Film Festival, the film was winner of the Future Golden Lion in Venice as well as the Satyajit Ray Award at the London Film Festival in 2008. A multiple course wine dinner inspired by the film created by Italian-born World Master Chef Salvatore Gisellu of Urban Crust will be followed by the premiere screening of this sophisticated Italian comedy. Mid-August Lunch opens exclusively at the Angelika on May 21.
